Elise is 7 months

Our darling baby girl is 7 months old today. She fills my days with endless happiness. She has one tooth, can clap, do high five, 'whisper' in my ear, sit up, roll over. She is learning and growing so much. I feel I want to spend all of my waking moments with her. Elise loves children, so much that she just wants to touch them all the time.

Two parks in one day

This morning myself and Elise went to Longwater lane park to celebrate Sam Dockrill's birthday. We had cake, bubbles and balloons. It was such a beautiful day and a lovely way to start the day.
This afternoon we went to a new park, Sloughbottom after my brother recommended it. We really loved it another lovely place to walk around.

Whitlingham Broads

Another lovely day. I have a lot of work to do right now, but I decided that could wait and we would spend more time together today on a little outing. We decided to go to Whitlingham Broads. We walked around the lake which took around 45 minutes. It was another beautiful day. I love taking Elise out and about and she enjoys it too. We ended the day with an icecream and we treated Elise to a mini milk which we shared with her.

Waterloo Park

Today we went to Waterloo park. The weather was beautiful and it was lovely to have a little. We took some lovely photos. Elise loved being on the swing. She then fell asleep and me and Darren sat down and had a long chat something which we don't spend long enough doing right now.

Redwings Horse Sanctuary

I have been wanting to go here for a while.....so yesterday we had planned to go. We took Finlay and Emira too. We all had such a lovely day. There were lots of horses and donkeys to stroke, a lovely picnic area and a play area. We will definitely be going back soon. Elise loves being outside and now we have started sitting her up in her pushchair she loves it even more.

Banham Zoo

Yesterday we went to Banham Zoo to celebrate my birthday. Elise loved the bird show. She also had an icecream....well it was mine but she ate most of it. We went on the train.

In the evening we were invited to the Barber home for the closing ceremony of nanny camp. We had lots of fun. Elise won a medal for being such a good baby.

Father's day

I have catching up to do on this blog so some of the following entries won't be in the order they happened....but I would really like them on here.

Sunday 17th June

Today we will start off with Father's Day.
We went to Pensthorpe which is a nature reserve. We had a lovely day together. We saw lots of birds and ducks. Daddy suggested we played Pooh Sticks. Elise held her very own 'Pooh' stick and managed to drop it in the water. We counted to 3 (and then to 10 before you let go of it.
We love going out as a family even more now we have Elise.
In the morning we also went to my Dad's grave to take some flowers with Nanny. It was the first time we have taken Elise.
