Elise is 7 months
Our darling baby girl is 7 months old today. She fills my days with endless happiness. She has one tooth, can clap, do high five, 'whisper' in my ear, sit up, roll over. She is learning and growing so much. I feel I want to spend all of my waking moments with her. Elise loves children, so much that she just wants to touch them all the time.

Two parks in one day
This morning myself and Elise went to Longwater lane park to celebrate Sam Dockrill's birthday. We had cake, bubbles and balloons. It was such a beautiful day and a lovely way to start the day.
This afternoon we went to a new park, Sloughbottom after my brother recommended it. We really loved it another lovely place to walk around.

Whitlingham Broads
Another lovely day. I have a lot of work to do right now, but I decided that could wait and we would spend more time together today on a little outing. We decided to go to Whitlingham Broads. We walked around the lake which took around 45 minutes. It was another beautiful day. I love taking Elise out and about and she enjoys it too. We ended the day with an icecream and we treated Elise to a mini milk which we shared with her.

Waterloo Park
Today we went to Waterloo park. The weather was beautiful and it was lovely to have a little. We took some lovely photos. Elise loved being on the swing. She then fell asleep and me and Darren sat down and had a long chat something which we don't spend long enough doing right now.

Redwings Horse Sanctuary
I have been wanting to go here for a while.....so yesterday we had planned to go. We took Finlay and Emira too. We all had such a lovely day. There were lots of horses and donkeys to stroke, a lovely picnic area and a play area. We will definitely be going back soon. Elise loves being outside and now we have started sitting her up in her pushchair she loves it even more.

Banham Zoo
Yesterday we went to Banham Zoo to celebrate my birthday. Elise loved the bird show. She also had an icecream....well it was mine but she ate most of it. We went on the train.
In the evening we were invited to the Barber home for the closing ceremony of nanny camp. We had lots of fun. Elise won a medal for being such a good baby.

Father's day
I have catching up to do on this blog so some of the following entries won't be in the order they happened....but I would really like them on here.
Sunday 17th June
Today we will start off with Father's Day.
We went to Pensthorpe which is a nature reserve. We had a lovely day together. We saw lots of birds and ducks. Daddy suggested we played Pooh Sticks. Elise held her very own 'Pooh' stick and managed to drop it in the water. We counted to 3 (and then to 10 before you let go of it.
We love going out as a family even more now we have Elise.
In the morning we also went to my Dad's grave to take some flowers with Nanny. It was the first time we have taken Elise.

Taverham Fayre
Elise is growing so much. She is such a happy baby. In the last week we have started solids. She enjoyed every food we have given her. We decided to be diferent and start on banana rather than the usual baby rice. So far she's had, pear, peach, banana, apple, avocado, butternut squash, sweet potato, potato, parsnip, broccoli, baby cereal and rice.
Yesterday we took her to the Taverham fayre, she was very happy with her yellow balloon and a taste of daddy's icecream.

Happy Mother's Day
Today I am so happy. My precious Elise has made me one of the happiest mummy's in the world. I had a wonderful day. It started with snuggles with my beautiful baby girl. I had a lovely soak in the bath using one of my presents. Elise got me a little girl charm for my pandora bracelet, Darren got me one too along with flowers and chocolates. When Elise (with daddy's help) gave me me my card I had a few tears. I have waited for this day so long and today I celebrated my baby girl for making me a mummy. We went our dinner (mummies ate free :) ) I was happy all day long. I love my baby girl and I love being a mummy. Today was a really special day for me.

Elise is my biggest sparkle in my life. Darren is a sparkle too of course, but Elise my little poppet brightens every moment of my day. She will be 6 weeks old tomorrow. Growing so big but is still my tiny girl. I had to put away a few of her tiny vests this week and I couldn't help but have a few tears. Cousin Leo came to play on Friday. I am not wishing time away but am really looking forward to these two little cousins growing up together. I've told them both they are going to be the best of friends.
